Cut Paper Infographic
I have lived in Colorado for the majority of my life. This cut-paper style infographic takes the simplicity of location and the feeling of home and combines several elements of creative freedom, such as actual pictures and paper textures, in order to represent a small slice of myself. Every drop-shadow, every color, every gradient plays a large role into the composition as a whole, keeping the piece clean and simple while holding a more symbolic presence. I have learned so much from this piece, and since its creation I have used many of these styles and techniques to further expand my artistic aspirations, such as the careful organization of color pallets and the subtle texture overlays that can completely change the mood of the piece.
